This episode, I reached out to Morgan’s family, and her best friend Taryn. I also contacted a few people back in her hometown of Aberdeen, South Dakota. They had spent time with Morgan in the days leading up to her move to Georgia. I quickly came to understand Morgan’s friends were going to do everything they could in order to help find her.

  So far what I could piece together was that Morgan moved to Georgia from Aberdeen, South Dakota. She wanted a fresh start in a big city. She arranged to stay with someone, possibly a couple she found online. She arrived in Georgia on February 12th, 2016

I began to research news stories in Georgia regarding social justice for a short film. That’s when I came upon the story of Morgan, a young woman who was reported missing in Atlanta, Georgia in February of 2016. Morgan’s case was considered a cold case that had never been solved.
